MaskFX reads the picture from OBS itself, so it never fights over your camera. It works with NVIDIA Broadcast and any other source.
Install
Run MaskFX and open OBS. It connects through the built-in obs-websocket.
Add the layer
MaskFX creates a transparent overlay on top of your camera source and keeps it aligned.
Pick a preset
Choose an effect in the OBS dock, press F9 to turn it on, and go live.

Trigger effects from your game
An optional free, open-source addon for World of Warcraft shows which spell you just cast as a tiny pixel strip. MaskFX reads it and fires the effect you chose for that spell. It never sends keys or controls the game. Included in the free version.

Questions
Does it work with NVIDIA Broadcast and other virtual cameras?
Yes. MaskFX reads the picture from the OBS source, so any source OBS can show works, including NVIDIA Broadcast.
What do I need?
Windows 10/11 and OBS Studio 28 or newer with obs-websocket enabled (included in OBS). A regular gaming PC is plenty.
Can I use my licence on two PCs?
One licence works on one PC at a time. Use "Deactivate on this PC" in the app to move it to another computer whenever you want.
Is the WoW addon safe?
It is free, open source and only displays information about your own spells. It does not automate anything or read other players. MaskFX is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
